Dog licenses for 2014 are now available.
Licenses can be purchased through Jan. 31, according to Stark County Auditor Alan Harold.
"The Auditor's office has added something new for 2014," he said in a news release. "Dog owners have a choice to purchase one-year, three-year, or lifetime dog tags."
Three-year and lifetime tags may only be purchased online, by mailing in the application or going to the auditor's office at 110 Central Plaza S., suite 220.
One-year tags may be purchased at locations throughout the county. To find the location of the agent closest to you, call 330-451-7354 or visit www.starkcountyohio.gov/auditor and click on the dog tag icon at the bottom of the page.
Fees are $14 per dog for a one year-tag; $42 per dog for a three-year tag or $140 per dog for a lifetime tag.
