Two Akron men were arrested on charges stemming from a township burglary.
Joshua A. Kramer, 20, and Robert A. Mercier III, 27, were arrested around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at two separate addresses in Summit County, each on a burglary charge and a receiving stolen property warrant, Stark County Jail records said.
The men are accused of using a large rock to shatter a glass sliding door on a home in the 8500 block of Noble Loon Street NW and steal undisclosed items from the home, the jail records said.
Stark County Court records show Mercier went to prison in 2005 for robbery and failure to comply with police.
Both men remained in the jail early Thursday, each held in lieu of $150,000 bond pending court hearings in Massillon Municipal Court.
