  • Police investigate Mogadore traffic incident involving pedestrian

  • The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an incident in which a driver struck and injured a female pedestrian at the intersection of State Route 532 and Bradley Avenue in Mogadore at approximately 6:32 p.m. Monday.

  • The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an incident in which a driver struck and injured a female pedestrian at the intersection of State Route 532 and Bradley Avenue in Mogadore at approximately 6:32 p.m. Monday.
    Kelly A. Rosato, 43, of Akron was driving a 2008 Hummer H-3 northbound on Rt. 532 and turned left onto Bradley Avenue, striking an unidentified pedestrian who was walking in a crosswalk.
    Emergency personnel from the Mogadore Fire Department transported the victim to Akron City Hospital. The victim sustained serious injuries in the collision, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The victim has not been positively identified.
    According to an Ohio State Highway Patrol statement, neither alcohol nor drugs appear to have been a factor in the crash. Rosato was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
    The crash remains under investigation.
