Time Warner Cable hopes to create 20 new local jobs and will interview candidates on Tuesday during a job fair.
Time Warner Cable said it plans to add more than 20 jobs to its Stark County operations.
The company has scheduled a job fair Tuesday at its offices at 5520 Whipple Ave. NW. Applicants can stop in between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. or from 5 to 7 p.m.
Time Warner said it's looking for technical support representatives because of continued growth following the introduction of new products and technology.
In a news release announcing the job fair, John Higgins, Time Warner regional vice president, said jobs being offered "have great earning potential, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career growth."
Technical support representatives help residential customers with troubleshooting from a call center. Qualified applicants need a minimum of 2 to 3 years customer service, as well as effective computer and communication skills.
During the job fair candidates will be able to meet technical leaders and assess the company culture — while learning about hours, pay, and training — before deciding if they want to apply online for the job. Interested candidates will participate in a 10-minute speed interview. Successful candidates will be invited for a final interview within 48 hours.
