  • Hartville pays engineering fees

  • During a regular session of council Oct. 15, the two key actions involved passing resolutions authorizing additional payments of engineering fees for road and construction projects.

  • During a regular session of council Oct. 15, the two key actions involved passing resolutions authorizing additional payments of engineering fees for road and construction projects.
    An additional $20,000 was needed for the final construction plans for the turn lane on Market Avenue. And an additional $3,000 was needed for the Sheetz project for inspection services.   
    In other business Oct. 15, council:
    • Set a Finance Committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 21  to discuss department budgets.
    • Set a Commerce Committee meeting for 5:30 p.m. Oct. 23 to discuss development plans for 2014.
    • Set a Zoning Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 to continue their discussion on the sign ordinance.
    • Set a Safety Committee meetingfor 5:30 p.m. Oct. 31 to discuss expansion of the police department.
    • Went into executive session to discuss a possible real estate matter. No action was taken after the session ended.
    Hartvlle Coucil will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 5  at Village Hall.
