Due to the popularity of the event, more tickets will be available this year than in the past.

Tickets will be sold online at www.CVSR.com starting at midnight. Admission is $43 for ages 1 and older for standard seating and $57 to $77 for an upgraded ticket, available on select nights.

Trips depart daily at 7 p.m. and return at 9 p.m. Nov. 15 through Dec. 20 from the Rockside Station in Independence and the Akron Northside Station. New matinee times will be 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 14 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 15 only.

CVSR will collect winter clothing for local charities at the Rockside Station and Akron Northside Station during the Polar Express season. New or gently used coats, hats, scarves and gloves can be dropped off at the station the night of a riders' program. Charities wishing to participate can contact the railroad at cvsr@cvsr.com.
