WHAT IS IT? Preparation of land for development in city of Green.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? DeHoff Development of North Canton is clearing 22 acres at the southeast corner of Greensburg and Mayfair roads for future development.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?  “We’re just clearing the site” to make it more desirable to developers, said Bob DeHoff, president of DeHoff Development. “It’s hard for people to envision developing on wooded property,” he said. “We’re just trying to make it more attractive.”

AND ANOTHER THING:  DeHoff said there are already several (unnamed) potential buyers. “Today, industry likes shovel-ready property,” he said. The land is zoned for industrial use and has water and sewer lines running to it, he said.
