Diebold has won a bid to supply more than 3,800 automated teller machines (ATMs) to Brazil’s Caixa Economica Federal, the country’s second largest state-owned bank.
Security features on the ATMs going to Brazil include fingerprint biometrics enabling consumers to verify their identity via fingerprint; seismic sensors and systems that protect the keyboard, monitor and card reader, and anti-skimming technology that helps protect against illegal card skimming.
Diebold Brazil is headquartered in Sao Paulo and has approximately 3,200 employees.
