Police have released the names of the victims of Sunday’s apparent double murder-suicide.

According to a press release from the Massillon Police Department, officers responded to 911 Oxford Ave. NE Sunday afternoon and entered the home.

They discovered the bodies of Kyle Blankenship, 42, Ann Urbas-Blankenship, 42, and a child, Grayce, 8. The press release said “all of the parties had suffered gunshot wounds” from a .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun, which was found underneath Kyle Blankenship’s body.

Police said officers went to the home after getting reports of an ongoing argument there.

“The investigation is still ongoing. However, preliminary findings show this event to be a double homicide and subsequent suicide,” the release said.
