Today state Sen. Frank LaRose shares his thoughts on a new initiative to reduce regulations on businesses in Ohio.

This gives us an opportunity to ask you to join the conversation.

Are there state rules and laws that you think are unnecessary and burdensome for businesses in Stark County and Ohio? What has been your experience with these mandates?

We’re interested in the other side of the coin, too: If you don’t think businesses are subjected to too much regulation, tell us about your experience.

A Repository reader contacted us awhile ago to point out that the debate about regulations is often general. It rarely gets down to specific examples of rules and laws that businesses say bog them down in pointless paperwork and cost them money and staff time that they can ill afford.

Ask Stark Countians about their experience with business regulations, he suggested.

So, what do you think? We hope business owners especially, but also consumers and others who know something about this issue, will:
