WHAT IS IT? TD’s Tailgate Grill is emerging from the former Mallonn’s Grill and Bar at 2234 Tuscarawas St. W.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW? GlenOak High School graduate Scott Shapiro originally left Canton for Boston University and has more than 20 years in radio. He has a love of the restaurant industry, and his wife, Kim, a south Florida native, has a passion for cooking, the desire to create a unique eatery and extensive restaurant experience.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN? TD’s is being remodeled and is scheduled to open in the second or third week of February with a family, sports themed, casual, upscale dining atmosphere. The food will be a combination of traditional American dishes with a twist, and some of Kim’s own recipes including fresh grilled fish tacos and the Inside Out Burger.
