Eight teen rock bands from Stark County will duke it out musically at 7 p.m. March 5, at downtown Canton’s Palace Theatre during The Repository’s eighth annual Battle of the Bands. Performing two songs apiece will be Across the Viaduct, representing Perry High School; O.N.E., Hoover; The Brighter Side, GlenOak; Line of Defense, Jackson; NOCA, Hoover; Sicadia, Lake, and Motion, Jackson. DJ Harry will do an hourlong pre-show starting at 6 p.m., when doors open. Discount tickets, $6 (cash only), are available through noon Saturday at the concierge desk at Westfield Belden Village mall. Tickets will be $8 at the door.
