Second Annual Chase Your Shadow 5K Run/Walk to benefit Friends of the Portage Lakes State Park will be held Saturday, Feb. 5. A closed 3.1 mile course in the scenic Portage Lakes State park located at 5031 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 in southern Summit County. Open to runners and walkers of all ages.
The Chase Your Shadow Race is part of the Subway challenge series. Day of registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Race starts at 10 a.m. No make-up date, no refunds.
Entry fee is $20 in advance/ $25 day of. Register online at

A commemorative tee shirt will be given to all pre-registered entrants. Age group awards and prizes. Goody bags first come, first served.
