Green Community Center, Green High School and FedEx Custom Critical were hosts of the blood drives. Together their efforts were able to collect 361 pints of blood.
Green High School collected 223 pints. The Chapel in Green gathered 53 pints, the Green Community Center collected 40 pints and FedEx Custom Critical gathered 45pints.
This program allows students, mainly seniors to take college credits so when they enter college they will have enough credits to be listed as sophomores. Green received a total of $99,000 to help with the implementation of this program.
The village was unable to get a low interest loan to make repairs to the system because its rates are too low to cover the expenses of the water and sewer maintenance.
I have to admit I have never been on a fishing trip like this before. I was guaranteed to catch a wide variety of things. It almost sounded too good to be true. I had been in contact with the Outer Bank’s Visitors Bureau about arranging a fishing trip in the Manteo area of North Carolina.
